ULB extends DrySyn heating to its organic chemistry teaching laboratories

The Laboratory of Organic Chemistry at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) has recently adopted additional DrySyn heating systems for its teaching laboratories, building on more than a decade of successful use in research activities.

The Laboratory of Organic Chemistry at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) has recently adopted additional DrySyn heating systems for its teaching laboratories, building on more than a decade of successful use in research activities. The technology offers a convenient and safer alternative to traditional oil baths while contributing to improved laboratory efficiency and waste reduction. Its implementation aligns with the laboratory’s ongoing efforts to enhance sustainability in both education and research. The laboratory is also exploring the use of CondenSyn air condensers to further reduce the environmental impact of routine laboratory operations.
