You’re invited to this free research-based flow chemistry webinar where Asynt are collaborating with researchers from Professor Anna Slater’s research group at the University of Liverpool (UK). The live event has taken place, but you can watch the webinar back on-demand for free via the link below.
Who should attend: Whether you already work in flow chemistry or are simply curious about how real-time monitoring can transform reaction insight, this promises to be a fascinating and highly practical session.
Overview:
- Introduction to UV/Vis Spectrophotometry – Andrew Mansfield
- Discussion regarding porphyrin work – Dr Firdaus Parveen
- Review of other work carried out using FlowUV technology – Harvey West
Join Asynt Flow for this free one-hour research-focused webinar exploring how real-time UV monitoring is helping chemists gain deeper insight into flow reactions as they happen.
This session will feature work from Professor Anna Slater’s group at the University of Liverpool, whose research spans functional materials, supramolecular chemistry and advanced molecular assembly. The group has recently utilised the FlowUV device in their continuous flow porphyrin synthesis work, revealing new insights through real-time UV-Vis monitoring and demonstrating how in-line analysis can help chemists better understand complex reaction behaviour.
Alongside the porphyrin work, in this flow chemistry webinar we’ll also showcase additional applications of the FlowUV platform and discuss how researchers are using real-time data to improve reaction understanding, optimisation and reproducibility in flow chemistry.
