A baking chemist, close encounters of three reaction kinds, & sustainable laboratory solutions for everyone…

We are proud to announce that Asynt will be exhibiting at CHEMUK 2024, the chemical, laboratory and process industries show taking place from 15-16 May at the NEC in Birmingham.

In addition to the wide array of innovative, effective and sustainable laboratory equipment on display, we’ve an action-packed agenda of presentations and demonstrations that we hope you’ll be as excited about as we are!

Dr Josh Smalley will be joining Asynt for a chemistry baking demonstration at CHEMUK 2024

Chemistry is just like cooking – but don’t lick the spoon!

On day 1 of CHEMUK 2024 (15th May), we’re so excited to welcome Great British Bake Off finalist, Dr. Josh Smalley, in a unique collaboration that blends the world of chemistry and the culinary arts in a way you’ve never seen before!

Josh is a multi-talented chemical biologist, passionate baker, gardener, and rugby fan whose painstaking attention to detail won him a place in the Great British Bake Off show finale of the recent series (14).

Asynt will be hosting Josh at our stand (K80) to demonstrate his amazing baking skills using our lab equipment. Following the demonstration, Josh will be available for autograph signing, offering a perfect opportunity for fans and food enthusiasts to meet a true baking virtuoso and chemistry advocate.
