Martyn Fordham
Managing Director & Head of Product DevelopmentMartyn has been working in the Chemistry field for over thirty years, going on to form Asynt Ltd in 2003. With a custom glass blowing background, Martyn has been involved in many product development programs, both for previous employers and now of course Asynt and Uniqsis of which Martyn is also founder and CEO. Martyn is head of product development within Asynt and is keen to expand the portfolio of products available with innovative and useful new tools for the laboratory.

Dr Kerry Elgie
Commercial DirectorKerry achieved her doctorate in 2003. Now with extensive experience in the scientific sales sector, she is responsible for widening Asynt’s global network of distributors and customers whilst also looking after Asynt’s territory in the North of England. With a keen interest in laboratory sustainability projects, including reducing carbon footprints, energy usage and reduction of water consumption within the laboratory, she prides herself on bringing energy reducing solutions to the laboratory bench. Kerry also keeps watch for potential new and interesting product developments / collaborations that could be symbiotic to the Asynt portfolio.

Dr Ffion McKeague
Operations DirectorFfion achieved her doctorate in 2014 and is responsible for the ReactoMate range of laboratory and pilot-scale reactors across the UK and international territories. As well as supporting the Asynt sales team and customer base with their other technical product queries, Ffion also works alongside Martyn Fordham in managing our product development programme - ensuring Asynt continues to offer the latest cutting-edge technology to our customers.

Dr Arran Solomonsz
Sales ManagerArran achieved his doctorate in chemical nanocatalysis from the University of Nottingham in 2014 and is responsible for sales activities across the midlands & southern UK, whilst also managing international territories including North America, Japan, Israel, Switzerland and Sweden. Arran is always keen to provide customers with the latest in safe, clean and green technologies from Asynt and enjoys the diversity of projects from R&D to pilot and beyond. Arran is also in regular contact with our key suppliers to ensure we can offer our customers the best advice and overall service.

Sales & Customer SupportHannah's main duties include processing orders, liaising with our customers and manufacturers, packing and shipping orders all over the world. As well as invoicing and she also helps with our main stock control. Hannah is also part of our Health and Safety team and helps ensure we are maintaining a safe and happy environment for our office based team.

Sales and Logistics SupportCameron is a valued and friendly member of our logistics team, assisting Aaron with the processing & packing of orders - particularly those international shipments requiring customs paperwork and special handling. He supports our customers and distribution partners with essential updates, ensuring they're kept informed on the progress of their order. Cameron is enjoying being part of the Asynt team and is looking forward to further developing his knowledge and expertise to better support our customers. In his free time he enjoys writing and adding to his own literary works.

Logistics & Sales AssistantDamien has a strong background in worldwide logistics & export, previously managing complex operations and handling with Air Operations for a large UK airport. Well-accustomed to tight deadlines and the need for attention to detail, he works alongside Aaron and Cameron to ensure prompt and safe delivery of Asynt apparatus worldwide. In his spare time, you might find Damien enjoying a relaxing game of golf, on long family walks with his dog, or just generally making the most of working regular office hours after many years of shift work!

Helen Newland
Financial AssistantHelen started her career in the Banking Industry Finance department working in the City of London for 27 years, the last 15 years she was a Regulatory Reporting Analyst. Helen initially joined Asynt in a temporary role to help the accounts team on a part time basis, then becoming a permanent member of the team. Her role is to check supplier invoices agree to our orders, and ensuring they are paid on time. Helen monitors Clients’ accounts, sending out statements or payment requests. Reconciliation of the Company credit card and Company bank account.

Sales SupportKate began her career working as a Lab Technician and progressed through roles as Production Manager and Customer Services Manager. Here at Asynt, Kate primarily works closely with the sales team to support our customers with quotations. In addition, Kate works alongside the other administration team members processing orders, shipping worldwide, and supports the company with Health & Safety management.

Sales SupportSiobhan has worked in a variety of different industries, from Automotive to Aviation, and Pharmaceuticals to Scientific. Having started her career as a Customer Service Executive she progressed to other related roles including that of Sales & Operations Manager, Logistics Manager, and Change Management Controller. Here at Asynt, Siobhan is part of the core administration team where she assists in a range of areas including the processing of customer & supplier orders, worldwide shipping, and Health & Safety management. Outside of work, Siobhan enjoys many creative hobbies plus mountain biking and spending time as a family with their 3 dogs.
