The Page Lecture 2017

The University of Huddersfield has established an annual lecture to honour the career of Professor Mike Page for outstanding achievements in organic chemistry.

This years event is to be held at the Department of Chemistry, University of Huddersfield, on Tuesday 27th July with Keynote Speaker, Professor Guy Lloyd-Jones FRS from the University of Edinburgh.

You can see the full programme for the day and register to attend HERE.

Asynt’s Dr Kerry Elgie will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions you may have for her relating to the wide range of apparatus in the Asynt catalogue, plus give you the opportunity to take a close look at some of our key laboratory tools such as:

  • DrySyn: safe, clean synthesis without the hazards of oil baths
  • ReactoMate: completely customisable controlled lab reactors from 100ml to 30L as standard
  • CondenSyn: waterless air condensers to save water and money
  • High Pressure Reactors: a range pressure reactors in single or parallel format, and PressureSyn (with the unique safety locking system).

There’s a good chance that Kerry will have some delicious sweet treats as well as the new Asynt sunglasses and the adorable Walter (the water droplet) with her too so do some and say hello if you’re there!
